This book, just published, is about the Civil War years of Calvin Augustus Craig. It describes his service with his letters and records from the war and includes photographs of his regiment box and his field box along with other family records. Records include a touching letter from his father in 1861, pictures of Calvin's Commission Certificates, ordnance reports, photographs of his sword and dagger, and much more. The monograph is a 64-page, laminated paperback with over 50 illustrations, indexed with a list of sources. Read about this Clarion countian's battle experiences from getting his horse shot from under him on more than one occasion to his mortal wounds at Deep Bottom, Virginia where he died.
